PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT: With the Girls Basketball Team competing in the State Basketball Team this week, the following adjustments have been made for the P/T Conference Day on Thursday, March 13: If the team wins, Conferences will start at 1PM unless you are notified by staff that they will be on campus during the day. Elementary is currently planning on being on campus, but have the option to attend the game on Thursday is available. HS Staff will need to adjust some schedules in the morning as several of them are traveling with the team. Those parents affected will be contacted directly by the teacher in these cases.
Otherwise, the P/T Conference Day will go as scheduled if the team suffers a defeat on Wednesday.
Please contact your student's teacher directly with any questions and the option exists for a phone call or virtual conference if you are able.

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE-WORK SESSION/REGULAR BOARD MEETING: The Corona Public Schools Board of Education will be meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025 in the Board Room in Corona High School at 5:30PM. Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Basketball team on their victory Friday versus Logan in the state tournament. Their next game will be Wednesday, March 12, at 8am versus Fort Sumner at Bernalillo High School.
School will be cancelled on Wednesday so students, staff and community can go support the girls in their quest for a state championship.

CORONA PUBLIC SCHOOLS-Board of Educations Meeting Change Announcement: Because of potential conflict with State Basketball Tournament, the Corona Public Schools Board of Education will be meeting on Monday, March 17 at 5:30PM starting with a Work Session at 5:30PM. This is a reschedule of the regularly scheduled meeting of March 12, 2025. Agendas and meeting notices will be made available and posted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act prior to this meeting.

The Cardinal Peewee Basketball teams recently played in the Floyd Peewee Ball Tournament. All teams played extremely hard. Corona's Grade 3-4 Boys Team brought home a Third Place Trophy. Way To Go PeeWee Cardinals.

Reminder, only GoFan electronic tickets will be accepted at the gate.
POWERSCHOOL BREECH UPDATE: PowerSchool is not notifying parents/guardians who have may have been breeched for information. Please check your email that you have on file for PowerSchool with the school and the notification email should have come directly from PowerSchool from an email such as Ps-sis-incident@mail1.csid.com as there are multiple lists going out. They outline the procedures for you to follow as the district is not notified of this on an individual case by case basis. If you have been breeched, you will need to follow the email instructions with PowerSchool to ensure your safety and security of your information.
STATE BASKETBALL TICKET SALES: Tickets will go on sale today for the Girls State Basketball Tournament game v. Logan at Corona for March 7 at 6PM. Tickets can only be bought through GofFns Website and link will be made available later today. Only electronic tickets will be accepted at the gate and no tickets sales will be made at the door the day of the event. This is the NMAA policy and we are obligated to enforce it.
I encourage you to buy early. Once ticket limits are met in GoFans, no more tickets will be available for the game.
ATTENTION CARDINAL FANS:
Corona Lady Cardinals will host the first round of the State Basketball Tournament on March 7th at 6:00 pm at the Corona Gym. We will be hosting Logan. Come out and support our girls in the first round. WAY TO GO LADY CARDINALS!
DISTRICT BASKETBALL TICKET PRICES are $5.00 per individual. with all start times at 6:00PM for games. The Boys travel to Alamo Navajo on Tuesday, February 25 while the Girls will be hosting the District Final on Friday, February 28, 2025.
District Basketball Game Announcements: The Boys Varsity District Game will be played on Tuesday, February 25 at 6PM at Alamo Navajo. The Girls Basketball team will be hosting the District Championship game on Friday, February 28 at 6PM against a to be determined opponent.
Ticket information will be forthcoming in the next few days for both games.
ATHLETIC REMINDER: Tomorrow's (2/18/25) MS BSKT game at Alamo Navajo has been cancelled due to conflict with number of games for the opponent. The VARSITY Girls will start at 4:30 followed immediately by the boys.
REMINDER: Wednesday, February 19. 2025 is an early release day for Staff PD and Training/Work time. Students and buses will be released at 1PM so if you need to pick up your students, remember the early release time. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
